Since January of 2007, when I started this business, I have usually grabbed one of my demo/rental boats when I felt like doing a little paddling. Well, after being in business for one year I felt that I deserved my very own boat. I chose one of the last of my 07 Ultimate 12 models. I liked the gold for some reason and prefer to keep things simple. However, aside from the mounted rod holders, I plan to do a few more things to it. Here is my basic setup. Yes, I know it needs to be broken in...soon, very soon. :-)

Let's see yours!

KRK, a 21' and 16' extendable poles. I don't carry those like that, just put them in there for props.

Saweet! I really do like the blue color. I don't get many request for the blue MRs but when they see it in person...people love it! Is that a 3rd Grip Crate Mate Jr.?

Thanks for the compliment. The pictures just don't do it justice. The blue is REALLY gorgeous in person.

Good eye! It is a Crate Mate Jr.

The problem is that you need the direct link to your photos if you use the "Img" tags.

Sure thing...it is a Diamond (HE) Edge with a bent shaft made by Accent Paddles (http://www.accentpaddles.com). I don't usually carry this model because of its high price tag at about $400 but had a customer special order it. It had a minor blemish so they sent me another one and let me keep this one as a demo!! :-) :-)

I do carry some other models similar to this: http://www.lakelinew...om/paddles.html

The paddle has a carbon shaft and blade, handles very well and is very stiff.

Best of all, it only weighs 22oz!

I could have saved a few pennies and crafted my own crate...but saw the Crate Mate Jr in the shop where I bought my MR14 and had to have it. What the heck. It's only money! That thing can pack a LOT of stuff!
