2014 Mariner.

Does anyone have trade number or size for crank bearings? Finally got my upper tran. cap off and found about a tsp of water and bearings rusted, rough, and gritty.

The upper bearing is a trade number 6203. Dimensions are 17 x 40 x 12mm.

Just to be clear, I'm asking about the left and right bearings for the crank spindle, which are seated in the L &R transmission covers. Are they the same size as the upper spindle bearings? Thanks.

Gotcha. You should likely have a 301 series drive, which is indicated by the first three numbers on your drive, located on the left side of the vertical shaft. Another identifying part charteristic are the upper transmission covers which are flat. This model uses the same bearing size on both sides indicated above. The only upper bearings are the ones seated in the covers which contact/rotate on the crank spindle.

A 401 series uses two different sizes and will have bell shaped covers which house external seals underneath them. If you have a 401 please let us know and we'll add those bearings.

Actually, the drive serial number begins with 201.

OK, no worries the 201 & 301 have the same bearings.

Sorry. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed. You're saying the crank bearings for my drive are both 6203? (17 x 40 x 12 mm)

Thanks I'm having a hard time find all of the bearing sizes.  I did a lower cartridge rebuild the other week and now I'm looking at a complete rebuild.
