Local dealer was out of the Manta Ray and was told by Native that they have temporarily stopped new production of the Manta Ray model because they are backed up trying to fill Slayer and Propel orders. Bummer have to find a another dealer that has the color I want in stock. Anyone else have heard this?

That could very well be. They have to pull the molds off of the production line every now and then to get sent off for maintenance and polishing and that takes a while. Also sales on the Slayer are something like 35% higher than expected...orders are piling in, so if there aren't any or many MR orders coming in, it would be hard to justify pulling the Slayer off line till those molds need maintenance.

I'm betting they change their line up for next year. With some models selling WAY better than others, it only makes sense.
